No really, holy cow, Brexit was actually for real.  My mind was firmly entrenched in the no way the Brits would have the balls to say sayanara to the European Union camp.

This one caught me by surprise, as well as a lot of other people.  I recall reading about Trump’s tweet when he landed in Scotland today, “Just arrived in Scotland. Place is going wild over the vote. They took their country back, just like we will take America back. No games!”, he was so misinformed that he didn’t even realise Scotland was against leaving the EU.  This coming from a guy who has a team of advisers whom should be up to date on current affairs.  For the rest of us that don’t have such luxuries, Brexit was, well, quite a shock!

So cue in the market turmoil, talking heads on TV discussing the end of the European Union, possibly QE 4, 5…6 and maybe a 2nd referendum?  I wish my crystal ball can see 12 months into the future to see where the chess pieces are when the dust settles..
